Hi, there! I’m Thalia (Tuh-lee-ya), a visual artist turned UXer.
As a kid growing up in NY, I was always drawing and painting. I studied graphic design then earned a BFA in UX design and research in Seattle, WA. I’m happiest when I’m making things and constantly learning. My creativity in the visual arts translates into my close attention to design details, storytelling, navigating ambiguity and seeing the bigger picture of research and AI product design.
Every user experience doesn’t need AI, but every AI system needs to consider the user experience.
You can have the most groundbreaking insight, but if you can’t communicate it in a way that inspires action, your research isn't going to make an impact.
Designing the process is just as important as designing the product. Design goes beyond the UI.

Currently, I’m living in Colorado with my husband and our 1.5 year old dog, Atlas. Ever since our first cross-country roadtrip, we’ve made it our goal to visit or camp in all the U.S. National Parks. As of 2026, we are officially halfway through! Otherwise, we do weekend camping trips, hiking, fishing, kayaking locally. I love creating videos of our trips, like this one from our trip to Aspen!
